Mourned the Man You Might Have Been (Poem)

On 2026-06-062026-06-06 By NahumIn Closed, Fixed Forms, Nahum's Poetry, TerzanelleLeave a comment
In the last to weeks of May this year, I was on holiday in Tasmania and while I was there I wrote a final poem of mourning regarding a significant person from my past. It is in the form of a terzanelle (a terza rima / villanelle); it is 127 words long and it concludes my mourning for this person, that I may move onwards and upwards in my life.
