Here is a poem that I wrote about three years ago, about the everlasting arms of Jesus as a comfort to His flock. It is based on the Hebrew word zro’ot olam, which means ‘everlasting arms’; the phrase originates from Deuteronomy 33:26-28, which says, The eternal God is your dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms. Here is a poem that I wrote in a series of quintains/pentastichs, where each stanza contains five lines. The rhyming pattern is A-B-A-B-B. The first lines of stanzas 2-5 are the same as the last line of each preceding stanza. Finally, the last line of the poem is exactly the same as its first. May it bless you, Nahum.
