It’s been quite a while since I have written a poem, about 5 months. I’ve been trying to ‘get back into it’, but it has been a challenge. Below is a ballad that I wrote about work. God bless.

I have recently been thinking a lot about the disappointments of life and how, in Jesus, there is so much more hope in the life to come, so I wrote this poem. It is in the form of a terza rima sonnet, where the interlocking rhyming scheme is Aba/bcb/cdc/dad/aA. God bless, Nahum.

This is a poem that I wrote (in the form of a ballad) about the reality of eternity and how that makes life a serious thing. Each stanza has four lines with iambic stress. The 1st and 3rd lines each have eight beats and do not rhyme, while the 2nd and 4th lines each have 6 beats and do rhyme. God bless, Nahum.
