Honey (Poem)

I recently worked for about two months as a freight delivery driver before my promised employment was ruthlessly and unfairly denied me.  Delivering freight in the middle of an Australian summer is hard work, but I came to enjoy it and I even bonded well with the people whom I worked with on a day-to-day basis.  Here is a poem that I wrote about honey quenching thirst on a hot day in such conditions.  It is written in the form of a Vietnamese lục bát, where the odd lines have 6 beats and  the even lines have 8 beats.  The 6th beat in the odd lines rhyme with the 6th beats in the even lines (if that makes sense!).  The 8th beat of the even lines rhyme with the 6th beat of the next line.  Finally, the last line of the poem also rhymes with the first line.  Enjoy!
